Georgia Webster likes language lots (including alliteration). She studied linguistics and Italian as an undergrad and did honours in phonetics. These days she has a linguistics-unrelated day job, though she continues to talk about language a lot to anyone who’ll listen. The Triple R community radio audience listens to her once a month when Superlinguo joins The Breakfasters.

Lauren Gawne is a linguist currently working towards her PhD, which involves writing the grammar of a language spoken in a handful of villages in Nepal - and thus also involves eating lots of rice, learning to distill alcohol and taking lots of photos of baby goats. Lauren also likes talking about gesture, and gesturing about many things. Occasionally she’ll write about her field adventures at lozguistics.blogspot.com.
